Rich, looks like your timing was spot on - just the right time when the lights have started coming on in the buildings, but there is still some skylight left. I'll bet the transparencies are stunning - Kodachrome 64 in 120... hmmm. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words. Actually I took this a little later than I would have liked to get the city lights or perhaps I slightly underexposed the transparencies. I had to lighten the image a little in order to get the balance of the color in the sky and the lights of the the Manhattan buildings, cars, and street lights. Landmarks that are visible in the image include the Empire State Building (in Christmas colors), the Chrysler Building, the New Yorker Hotel, the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, UPS, and the vents for the Lincoln Tunnel. You can also look up one of the one way streets (seeing the stream of car headlights) running down toward the river. The image holds up to large printing and and all the street lights hold as perfect aster point light sources. The larger the image prints, the more the visual impact. Rich
