Thanks. It's such a timeless shot, without seeing the bicycles up close, it's hard to tell when it was made. Don't know why it should make any difference to me, really, but I tend to evaluate photos from the 40s and 50s by slightly different criteria than those made in the last 20 years. I'll have to think about that to see if I can figure out why I feel that way. I think it might have something to do with the difference between "monochrome by necessity" compared to "monochrome by choice"(?)
