Even those baby cobras are deadly. You think that's a cup to put money in and then....it's off to the hospital.

The other thing I noticed was how the boy was dressed. Was he really poor? Even his socks have a USA logo on them. He could be a professional beggar and knows that puppies generate sympathy. Even if he was a professional beggar, he may have to be to support his family. The photo is really thought-provoking.

I do not believe this is a perfect "dirt poor" example, tbh. He is most probably a beggar, part of a larger group of such, spread in the city to beg from tourists. And given the welfare support that goes to this sort of unfortunate individuals, many are poor by choice. Although begging is forbidden by law, there are really no serious steps taken towards stopping it.
