Crow-Friend.jpg

I deeply admire wildlife photographers - especially bird photographers. It's challenging at best....patience, technique, equipment, etc. Way beyond my skillset. Regardless, I've been trying to capture the local crows. Probably took close to 1000 shots and had only one keeper and this is it.
Location
Pacific Northwest
Equipment Used
Camera, tripod and a ton of peanuts.

Very good "bird portrait", somewhat intimidating
How did you make the black background ?

I believe the crow had serious intentions and accordingly, took a very stoic pose to prove his commanding character. Getting the black background was easy as it was extremely dark to begin with. It was a matter of carefully "burning in" via Photoshop. Yeah, yeah, I know....there's that 4 letter word again....🙂
