This abstract was taken in a workshop with Dewitt Jones that was called Deeply Seeing. Dewitt wanted us to try to use Zen to see our subjects. The photo was taken with my Leica R4SP with I believe my Leica f4 70-210 zoom and a Nikon 5T closeup lens. The 2 silhouttes are actually blades of grass supporting a dew laden spider web. The morning was overcast/misty. Dewitt liked the image by the way.
At art shows some people indicated that they thought the blades of grass were actually trunks of trees. As I mentioned to the one woman, better hide your children and pets, that would have been one huge spider.
