I see a lot of stuff like this in the Sacramento Delta.
So much of it has disappeared.
I talked to a guy last year that had just sold their 30 acres, it had been in his family for 110 years.
He made WAY more money with the land sale than in all of the 110 years of farming .
Virtually one stroke of the pen eclipsed 110 years of farming.

What I like is how this in integrated into the towns, not a life apart.
