@macfred thanks for comment. I'm in the fortunate position of living on the coast with lots of fishing villages nearby.
 
I lived on part of the SF Bay Delta.
It was staggering how much water would disappear at certain times.............. 10 feet of water would vanish from the sloughs. :surprised:
