PanF & Delta100 Comparison

I agree. I've been working with both for an age. Can't make up my mind.I would say PanF has the edge here.

Beautiful! I prefer the Pan F. Is the Delta 100 just as fine grained as the Pan F?

@SJC1952 I agree. It's such a nice film. It's the first time I developed it in Xtol (Xtol-R). I usually develop it in D23 1+3, but will probably stick with Xtol for now.

@Mainecoonmaniac I haven't done a comparison yet as far as grain goes. I'll do that tonight. One thing is clear at least to my eye is that Pan F seems to have more local contrast in this comparison. I wish they put this stuff on sheets.

That what I liked about the shot with Pan F. I plan to get a couple or rolls of Pan F 120 so I could split the roll up for my Minox spy camera my wife got me. As for my film taste, I always preferred the look of conventional films vs tabular grain films. I'm just old I guess.

@Mainecoonmaniac me too. I've always conventional films (although sometimes TMY-2 looks fantastic). Favourite for a long time has been HP5. Looks like Pan F could be my main slow film. Haven't decided if I'll settle on Xtol-R, or D23 1+3. Another test!

Don't know about the difference but I like the photo! Want the parked car to go away though.

@NedL he suddenly came and parked right there! The road was completely empty and he decides to park there. Oh well, I thought it would add a sense of scale in the end.
