Indian 741 restoration, American iron put together in the UK by Calvin "Phoenix" Underwood. Photo handheld (snatched just before a massive downpour), hope to shoot again in 120 format/ B&W with a less cluttered background.
Whew, I'd almost kill for that seat. Most likely could afford one if were'nt for doctor bills and unnecessary expenditures for wanted but not needed photography phew for rah.
It's a fine looking machine, had a forty Chief same color. For what it is worth, the Indian motorcycle enthusiasts of the world lost a great friend just a month ago, my great friend Walter E. Timme of "Timme Motor Sales" in Pueblo Colorado left us for the big ride in the sky. Walt was the best motorcycle mechanic I ever knew, if a part no longer was available, he built it from scratch. He was the last living Indian motor cycle dealer/mechanic trained in the original Indian factory, and has left quite a legacy of Indian goods and out of manufacture parts in the Pueblo shop. I miss him dearly!!
Thank you for posting the fine looking machine!
Charlie..........................
BTW, If it were mine I would dump the floor boards and put on 30x50 Sports Scout
cobs. Things can get very intresting broadsliding through a corner and folding the foot board up under the brake lever.........He,He, perhaps you just might have been there too!
