Little Jun the corgi is only 8 years old but was diagnosed with inoperable cancer in Dec. We don't know how many days/weeks we have but right now she is still very happy and enjoys food a lot.
One of our dogs has been seriously ill over the last few days so I can only imagine your feelings. Let's hope you have many more days of companionship and good times with Jun.
I lost my favorite dog to breast cancer. It really sucks but you will survive. If you're lucky, you corgie will hand off care for you to a new puppy on her way to puppy heaven. And yes, Truffles did that for us. We have Daisy Buchanan (a yellow lab) because Truffles told her puppy spirit that there was a family without a dog.
