Interesting image, does the print have more contrast? One other thing, I have been trying to find out this info everywhere and that is how much cheaper is palladium compared to platinum i.e per 10x8 print. I heard that to do one small platium print it works out at around $10. I really want to try and learn the process but am worried about the costs involved.thanks
The print does have a bit more contrast expecially where the cracks in the windows are concerned. Palladium is cheaper, but if you want to have control over contrast, I would invest in some Na2, which is platinum based. It's not cheap, but the results will quickly make the cost worth it! Give it a try, go to bostick and sullivan's website and look at their starter kits.

Todd, nice tonal range in this one. Looks like you are on the right track to make this a working process. One thing I didn't enjoy about the PMK was the murky shadow values, went to pyrocat hd and it made a huge difference. If you get a chance, give it a try sometime. Good shot. tim
thanks tim. This scan is darker and flatter than the original. I am interested in trying pyrocat hd with semi-stand development, but for everyday images, I'm still pro PMK.
