Reclining Buddha

I took these shot while travelling in Sri Lanka in the Polonnaruwa region. It's 14M long and I failed to photograph it's entire length. This is what I have and I pasted both shots on 1 sheet with PS.

I scanned both negs and created a single image using PS.
Nice pair of images. Good tonality that shows textures in the statue very well! I find that the panorama format suits the subject in a good manner (but is there perhaps a small pease missing in between the two frames ?). Nice work!
 
@henpe You are right of course, the is the center piece missing.. I wish that I had been careful when taking the photos as they would be easy to join together in PS.
 
It was done purposefully, to make one contemplate what's missing in our pictures....
 
@Colin Corneau & @Auer Thanks guys I think you are both right ,the more I look at it the more I think it works even better than an overall view.
