@pbromaghin I think it was a shot by Rene Burri...but I know the series you reference and loved the documentary film done on it that I saw recently.

Just the buildings, and it is a cityscape. With the figure it is an event.

There is an Andreas Feininger picture of rooftops (NY?) that is in exact quarters, which still sticks in my mind.
