1) its great to see your work;
2) the scans aren't bad at all, given the upload limits we have here;
3) if you are trying to upload multiple scans of the same image, to permit side-by-side comparisons, you are doing fine (watch out for the daily limit restrictions ;
4) if, instead, you are just trying to improve the image itself by uploading a better scan, you can use the edit function, and replace the old scans with replacements;
5) I am still struggling with learning the scanning process, but in many ways it shares a lot with the printing process, in that it helps to do a scan and then live with it for a while before you change anything;
6) it is also very important to realize that the resizing and uploading process involved in making a scan available here, adds an entire additional set of factors to consider;
7) your wonderful images remind me how much we take for granted the area we live in - even the "big city" here provides lots of great opportunities.
Thanks again for posting these here - I just wish I could see them in the "flesh"
Hi Jerold...it was post exposure flashed through an ultra dense and contrasty positive sharp mask over a sheet of duratrans. The print has only a few bits of pure white where I opaqued the mask. My scans are a tad off...
