I mounted a B&J 24" f/6.3 aerial reconnaissance lens in a tube so I could mount it to my telescope. Then I hacked a 4x5 back onto the tube so I could shoot 4x5 film with it. Then I shot this photo with a sheet of Fuji Acros.
I have that same lens and after seeing your image I might just drag the beast out and play with it. It is a very impressive lens and very impressive image. JW
Wonderfull, we are on our way there, in another few billion years, we will be taken over by Andromeda. I do not think there will ne anyone around to record the event but, Who the hell knows!
@Donald Qualls Autoguided. 15 years ago I would have been staring at a reticle eyepiece making manual corrections. Now I set it up and go inside to play War Thunder for an hour. Still technically very challenging, but at least that neck-breaking tediousness is gone.
