Ichabod's Palladium

"Ichabod's" – I've wondered if a classic street photography image would render well in palladium. The only other print I have of this is a vintage 20 x 24 inch gelatin silver print. Here it is in a 7.5 x 10.5 palladium print. Picture from 1985, Print: yesterday. Broadway, NYC in the West 80s.

  1. Yes
Wow. I was always wondering about making digital negatives... When I bought Sony Alpha 900 mainly. I suppose that it needs special equipment.

@dida In this case, I scanned a negative. That requires a professional grade scanner, in my opinion. However, if you're working from a file generated by a digital camera, a scanner isn't necessary. I use mark nelson's PDN technique for creating digital negatives on an inkjet printer. PDN will help create film negatives or positives for almost any printing process. Even the standard black white darkroom. One does need a good printer, though. I use an Epson R3000, since discontinued. Epson print heads have improved over the years, no more clogging, seldom need cleaning. Not cheap, and neither is the ink.

@dida Hi Dida, I typed an answer this question a couple of days ago. Now I see it didn't post for whatever reason. Apologies.
I have been creating "letter" size negatives using 8.5 x 11 inch film.

Incredible size for me. Than contact printed I assume... Wondering about it with some my digital photos. I was disapointed with any software, best was probably Film pack from Nik. I am also producing liths and for them this is even worse to simulate with digital technology...
Thanks for advice. R.
