Photographing a pair of buskers making music in a sculpture garden, I saw two apparently unrelated strangers approach from opposite directions, looking at their phones. Imagine my surprise when I saw them quickly kiss and then just as quickly go on their way!
I´ve never enjoyed doing street photography, as I feel uncomfortable photographing people.
Hence, I never payed much attention to the subject. But this image I would hang on my wall
immediately. It tells a good story and has everything I appreciate in a fine image.
Great craftsmanship. Great work !

@mfohl Way up here in Canada but the border is closed currently...I'd try your luck with any big park, really. Anyplace people gather is always fertile ground for photography.
I sure hope their spouses don't see this photo???? You never know who's watching now with all the digi-cams, camera phones, film cameras, surveillance cameras, game and trail cameras and even satellites. I have a cottage with a sandy beach, did a search of the address, pulled up a satellite shot and I could actually see my wife sunning herself on the beach. Your shot is still what street photography is all about. JW
I got the impression, from the friendly reception talking to the male afterwards, that they were indeed a couple. They were 'getting their steps in', just walking and doing laps around a very beautiful garden.
That's the lovely thing about public parks and gardens -- people use them and find solace in them for all kinds of reasons.
Colin, thanks for the explanation. I guess the point I was trying to get across is that us street photographers are really the least of peoples worries now. We can "usually" be seen and that allows folks to be aware of what's going on. It's those other image makers that I mentioned above that people should be very concerned about. Careful, big brother is watching!
