CBC RADIO CANADA TELECINE SLIDE

CBC RADIO CANADA TELECINE SLIDE

This is the official CBC RADIO CANADA slide familiar to most Canadians over 50. I retrieved this from a telecine chain as it was being removed from service in Calgary about 1989. A glass mount slide, probably Ektachrome. A relic from the sixties really. Notice the dash between the T and V of TV.
Location
Calgary, 1724 Westmount Blvd NW
Digital Post Processing Details
Took a picture of the slide with my phone as it lay on my light table.

My first clear memory of CBC television was this graphic behind a balding, bespectacled, and modestly plump newsreader, but his name escapes me. I think it was the national news, rather than local. Edmonton, mid-sixties.
