I'm reading James Mellow's biography of Evans. This shot was steps away from the giant Lincoln. It made me think of Walker. I changed out the soft meniscus with a Heliar 240mm

I love that guys photography - the way he could photograph every day plain objects yet give the subject an artful dignity.

He seems to have become one of photographys' forgotten heroes
