Hello Blighty, Devils Bridge was once a great place to go for a mug of tea and a bacon butty, now the police patrol the area far too often for my comfort. The Snake Pass in Derbyshire is no better, it wasn't so bad when it was just speed cameras and unmarked cop cars/bikes, now it's the effin helicopters that get you. Yes! This is England, where ever motorcycles gather in numbers the police spend a small fortune on: staff, cars, speed cameras and helicopters. It is more cost effective to just scrape us up off the road. I wish the police would put as much effort into catching paedophiles, rapists, burglars, conmen and corrupt politicians, they would have to look no further than the House of Commons, better shut up now before I go into on of my grumpy old man rants.

Bogeyes, try the Hartside hairpins near Penrith. Not sure if the fuzz have cottoned on to this one yet! Take your point about D.B. though.
