This is beautiful Andrew! I took some Konica film I had on my recent trip - I know I won't get anything like this since it was kind of the wrong season to use it, but hopefully I get a few good images out of it. I've noticed that it is not prone to fogging the way HIE is, even though it was discontinued far earlier.
 
Very nice.
My question is; Why does the only sky are not darker?
With a #29 and this amount of IR on the scene It should have been darker,No?
 
Such a lovely image Andrew, I love working with IR films as well. I too was in Japan in the early and then late 90s. That is where I started into medium and large format photography. My favourite store was Camera no Naniwa in the Shinsaibashi district of Osaka. Boy did I ever drop a lot of yen in that place.
