Strong image! It produces a whole story in my mind around the connection of the two persons etc. - And I see the dreamlike fascination which I also often had as a child in a seemingly unintersting landscape.

I can still remember taking this picture. I had just gotten that little Leica IIIf. It was so small and quiet compared to the Nikon Ftn I was using. There seemed to be less machinery between the scene and my eye.

The innocents of youth. Do youngsters still go and pick wild flowers?
My wife does, I ask why she bothers when they will probably wilt in an hour.
Nice picture, think it would be appreciated by all the wild flower pickers in the world. Be a good one for tricolour.

@awty I hope to not see the day when little girls stop picking wild flowers. (In this case, dead dried ones.) I think the most profound art of all can, at times be poetry, and poetry can even happen in photography, sometimes, like this pic, by chance, in the moment this this scene lasted.
