I guess I am a slave to the 8x10" print format. To crop the bottom would require a greater enlargement, hence losing some of the guys at either end. I could physically cut off the bottom, but that wold just leave more white space on the mount (again, assuming a standard board). An 8x12" format with appropriate board would probably suit this 35mm negative better.
