Darkroom print on ilford rc grade 1. Dodge and burn and selective bleaching and split toning with selenium and sepia. Needs a little more work, just a practice peace. Get better tones with fb paper.
Voigtlander Perkeo 1 6x6, 120 hp5 in d76.
Just to be clear... Perkeo's a fine, simple camera serving it's purpose. Results are fine, but skill of the photographer lies in the ability to get great results from simple gear. Nice work here! And yes, the Cow appears to be modeling....!! Please post more! Or as Will Ferrell would say, "More cowbell!"
It is a fascinating look. There is another worldly feel about it for me. The field and shadows draw one's attention to the cow which is almost luminous by comparison. Was the cow selectively bleached?
@JWMster I was just driving by and saw the shot, pulled over grabbed the Perkeo calmly walked over while setting the camera, framed, waited a moment for her to look to me and took the shot, then she walked away. Its a bit fuzzy on the left for some reason, apart from that the camera does the job.
@pentaxuser Yes, the cow the fence line and the cloud a little. Actually I did something similar with the previous picture, but changed my mind, might go back to it. Needs a bit more work.
