Backgrounds can be frustrating, can't they!
The full shot includes a bit more at the top - more of the background window frame, which I liked. That disappeared in the scan.
It intrigues me how my knowledge of the entire negative subconsciously influenced the cropping of the digital version.

from 1953 - boy, that has been in restoration a long time!!!

actually i like the cars in the background, out of focus, adds a layer and interest, lets your eye "wander" a little.
