Grandson - Kodak Duaflex II first images

My grandson expressed interest in doing some analog photography. He thought it would be cool if he used the very same camera I took my first shots with.

This image I took in a ceramic do-it-yourself shot we had the kids at. I was checking to see where the close focus started.

Nice shot, what did you determine the close focus to be? I always assume it's somewhere between 6 and 9 feet.
 
That's an interesting point of view!
 
Looking at camerapedia and such they list it at 3.5'. That's closer than I would have thought based on other brownie type cameras I have used.
 
I like this composition on several levels - the perspective from which the table and cup are photographed, the shadow details and the overall exposure allowing the viewer to see outside rather than blown out highlights - well done.
