What? Me doing Portraiture? What ever next?
Taken on the same day as my Railroad extracts.
This is the driver of the miniature train that took us for a joyride.

Very nice portrait! See, it wasn't hard! I wonder how you achieved that much sharpness on the print.
 
I really like the tones you have in this print. The composition and depth of field are great. How do you get FP4 to look this good? What speed do you like to rate it at? What developer did you use?

The film was rated at 64 ASA and developed in Pyrocat-HD 1:1:100. Its a nice combination, which works for me. I'm using rodinal at the moment as I have run out of Pyrocat and had some left. Also a good combi.

Print was split grade printed.

JLP - Film was FP4 rated 64 asa and developed in Pyrocat-HD 1:1:100.
Enlarger was Devere 504 dichroic , Nikon 50mm - Filters were Ilford multigrade.

Really a very good portrait. I enjoy very much the look in this gentleman's eyes. He's clearly having fun, loving what he is doing.
