EL Nikkor? Whenever I see this name with a question mark, I cannot but help think of the Magnificent Seven. Yul Brynner has just repeated as a question said statement made by the head villager about who is threatening them. Steve McQueen says to Yul "EL Nikkor eh, I fear there are more elements to this than I had thought. :D

Picture conveys: It was a hot afternoon, the last day of June and the sun was a demon. On a less serious note, how is the dynamo type thing connected to the bike for power

Thanks

Chain drive and it is an electric motor.

I think the title is really good, it is the cheapest way to electrify a push bike.

One assumes it is summer, but in fact it may be a winter's day, as it is here at the moment. The angle of the light is similar to what we are experiencing here right now.

Mick.

Mick It still isn't clear how the electric motor which I assume is the one by the bottom bracket is connected to the chain wheel At least I assume the connection is to the chain wheel. Is there a cog on the motor which meshes with another attached to the inside of the chain wheel?

Thanks
