There were multiple levels of change out to the most distant snow covered mountains (barely visible cloud shrouded in the upper left corner). The localized shadow on the hill in front gave me the contrast boost to create some separation.

Thanks, Eric. It was a beautiful day. Wife wanted to review notes at work Saturday, so I grabbed two cameras (Fuji + Contax iia) and dropped her for a few hours. Headed east to the hills and wandered. Very nice day. Picked her up later and went to late lunch.
