McDougall Memorial United Church

Very nice, Eric. We just lost a historic Murray United church in Nicola Valley,near Merritt, to an arsonist. It was 143 years old. All that is left standing is the Chimney.

Very nice and an image that brought back memories. On a trip to Alberta twenty (+) years ago driving from Banff to Calgary I pulled off to the side of the road and photographed the same church from a slightly different angle on TMax 120. It was overcast so I missed out on dramatic clouds. After seeing your photograph I had to go searching through my negatives to be sure it was the same church. It was a great trip yielding a number of good photographs. I also had the pleasure of meeting and befriending Craig Richards a really outstanding photographer from Canmore. Thanks for the memory.

Craig is a great guy. He's retired now and living out on the Salt Spring Islands.

A record is better than no record and its a pretty good image, great composition.

That sky is dizzyingly beautiful and you caught it perfectly - excellent accompaniment to the fence and church.

Shame about those damn jackasses....
