Thanks for the comments. On my monitor at home the values are closer to what I would print, which is pretty dark. On my monitor at work they are quite a bit lighter. When looking into the old ground glass on the Rolleiflex, the shadows looked just perfect for a shot, but there wasn't any subject, then in walked this gentleman a second later. I waited for a second opportunity, but between the chilly temperatures and lonely streets the prospect seemed improbable. The first one is always the best anyway.
