Vandyke Brown, toned in selenium on cotton paper.
Home made 14x17 pinhole .7mm, f350, camera negative using 350mm x 430mm (14x17) xray film.
Lot of work. Took 2 go's with the camera and numerous prints, another dozen goes I probably get it right.
@jnanian@DWThomas @k.hendrik@NedL Thanks, the whole process is pretty tedious. Working out the exposure of the film, anchoring the camera so it doesnt shake too much in the wind, making special trays so not use too much developer, try not scratch the film, making a big contact print frame, keeping the glass tight so the film doesnt ripple, braking the glass when you put in the sun cause there is too much tension, using a3 paper which is too small, but is half the price of a2 which is too big, then you superimpose the girl in wrong place so she is in the sky, then you get emulsion on the little negative and have to make another, then you dont quite expose it enough and she becomes barely noticable etc.... all fun. If it were easy every one would be doing it.
