I thought about that too, but after eliminating a bunch of derelict lawnmowers at the right edge, I opted to keep the "rural America" artifacts in the background... It's the usual: "should I or shouldn't I...?"...
I really like it. It reminds me of a simpler time. The exposure is spot on. The detail, you can see the shingles on the building way over on the right. What lens did you use? I use an RZ.
Wow, it has to be 35-40 years since I last saw those kind of pumps in the U.K. Now with the "Pay at Pump" ones you can drive up, get petrol and never have to speak to anyone. With internet/digital everything and if you single/widow/widower, it will soon be possible to live your life without any contact with other human beings. That's especially sad now Christmas is upon us.
P.S. I used to like the even older ones that had a clock-type face with hands
