Last shot of the day..... Had my Holga WPC set up on a railing looking over the yacht club. My cable release sprang off the camera and into the drink. I went back at low tide and could see it in about 2 feet of water, but no way to get to it.

Eric, glad you like it.
Spring, sprang, sprung - sprang is the past tense, sprung is the past participle. As I released it, it really did leap off the camera, not just fall off.

I took a drill to mine since the stupid female part was too recessed and narrow for any of my releases to work. They just popped out... Now it works with one... i once lost the plunger end of that one which unscrewed and had to push down on the sharp threaded part. That wan't pleasant. Lol.

How is it working out for you besides Sly? I finally have mine at the point where it is reliable..

Bob, I have one box of this paper, which I’m using for work prints. It’s fine, but it doesn’t tone well. For a show or a sale, I’d print on MGWT.
Patrick, I found a cable release that seems to sit quite snuggly in the Holga, so no more leaping releases, I hope. I’m still loosing shots on every roll to flare. The past couple of years have been very rough personally, so a bit of wasted film is neither here nor there. I haven’t got your bodging skills, and haven’t sourced any telescope flocking.
