In the late afternoon. I could have waited until the people moved out of the way (which is what I would usually do) but I thought the dog added a certain charm so took the photo anyway. Somehow the man and child balance the tree across a diagonal.
Oh, that wasn't a criticism, just a comment on David's confusion. I've moved the pic around on my screen and it lines up perfectly with the vertical edge of the screen but still looks crooked after hiding the slanted foreground.
@pbromaghin Maybe it's one of those internet things "is it crooked or not" and we see different things? I know the trees are crooked, I took the photo so I see them as crooked and the tower straight. I have a terrible fault of taking crooked photos anyway to be honest. I've always done it and I'm always on the look out to try not to do it!
