I spent three days in the redwoods in Northern California last month. These images do not reflect reality. There was so little light in the groves that I was often shooting wide open at ISO 3200.
I used a variety of exposure adjustments to brighten the scene. In general, you can use the green slider in the HSL/B&W panel to lighten foliage, though I didn't use that technique in this case.
