My apologies to Paul Simon for the title. But, this is a touching moment of a mature and the immature giraffe; if the lines are continued, they take on a heart shape if the lines are continued. This is perenial favorite of giraffe collectors and seems to tug on the heart strings of women. Even with a 560mm lens the giraffes were too far away. I cropped the transparency to get this effect.

The photos was taken about 4:00 PM in February as I recall. Though there actually is barbed wire fencing around the enclosure, it is not seen in the photo. The sun was getting lower in the sky and conditions were into magic hour. The background went dark and the 2 giraffes were being lit by the late afternoon sun.
