The colours are very nicely subdued. Easy on the eye. How do the colours compare to how you saw them on that day? Does it feel like a fair representation?
Thanks, Svendin. I think the green in this picture is just a bit more saturated than the real thing, but the other colors are really close if not just a bit subdued compared to my memory. I obtained this result by overexposing a half stop and developing by hand with E-6 chemicals that had been stored mixed about a month. The other photo I posted was slightly underexposed and from the same roll. The overexposure probably reduced the Velvia 50’s saturation but of course I really pushed the limits of the highlights in doing so.
