What kind of light is this, if I may ask?. I assume 60s is seconds which is much longer than I would have assumed was necessary at f2.8 Just goes to show what little I know about portraiture exposures

1/60th, I assume? Beautiful, emotional, photograph, anyway, in the way that it raises questions. The slightly out of focus face goes well with the composition. (Oh, and the model is gorgeous. That profile! That hair! That profile!) The fold of skin on her neck should maybe have been softened a bit in post-processing, though.

Very beautiful... technically and esthetically.. the model is as well of course..

Thanks for the kind words and apologies should have been 1/60s ! The light is good old fashioned natural light quite far from the window.
I thought about the fold of skin, but nah shes lovely the way she is !

Thanks for the explanation Brian. It certainly looked like natural light which left me puzzled about the "s" after 60:smile:

Keep Alice at your place and go on shooting her! Great shadow on the wall too. Next time try HP5 400 no pushing needed; this film takes skin so soooft. Thanks for sharing
