Beautiful. Besides the presentation of an awesome image, can you explain what benefit does the split developer give you? Complete novice asking.

Thanks all for the kind words. Regarding the split development I use xtol for the first half and then d-76 for the second half of total development time. I found this gave me the best qualities of each developer without their shortcomings.
