Shickwreck

Bow of the SS Saros wrecked circa 1930. Most of the ship lies in small pieces offshore however the bow section was washed up high and dry during very heavy seas. The original has tone in the sky, didn't scan too well.

I like shipwrecks. The detail in the rocks is good but maybe the lower bow needs dodging to bring out detail. Maybe this is a scan problem as well.
 
I like the subject, but I think that the rock in the foreground is competing for attention with the ship. I'd like to see some close-up shots of the wood on the ship and some of the features that are still left. I think that the condition of the wood would still covey the message of decay/age and the close range would add emphasis to the ship itself.
