Most interesting with the hats , table and faint figure in the background door way.

It's hard to tell, but I think the figure in the background is the reflection of the photographer in a mirror.

Well, that mirror makes it that more interesting. I thought the mirror was a door way.

Scanning and inkjet printing of old negatives like this can be more rewarding for various reasons than struggling to restore old prints or faking vintage photos. Would be easy to make this photo more zippy/realistic via NIK or Lightroom.
