Cool! a lovely range of tones here. Does the name 'cove' imply this is near the sea, if so is that a sea-mist rolling in?

no, this area is not near the sea . it is in the appalachian mountains of tennessee. the mist is early morning fog.

Beautiful. Brings back memories of the Smokies when I was there 30 years ago. Yikes, has it been that long? Mark, this is far from the sea, in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is often "smoke" (ie mist and fog), hence the name.
