They are endemic to Australia, commonly called grasstrees, used to be called blackboy which isnt appropriate any more obviously. Any how isnt so much about the plants but the environment (you can google them to see a botanic picture)
@jtk in the beginning there was chaos, be hard to find any in a row. Green should give more contrast in the foliage. I only did one shot, so nothing to compare .
@Hekoru I use it mostly for alternative printing, cause the experts seem to like it. Use it a bit on sheet film, the rest is mostly d76. Think its more important for printing to expose the negative right and chose the right film for the conditions. This picture was taken on an overcast day, so I chose hp5 and a green filter to give me as much detail as I could. If it were sunny I would have used fp4 and maybe no filter.....anyway Im still learning, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
