Great idea - well executed !
For the past four years I'm working on a project taking a photograph to each of the 24 songs / poems (written by Johann Ludwig Wilhelm Müller) of Franz Schubert's Winterreise.
There's no end in sight ...

@macfred Great!!!! I love Schubert music. Winterreise is my favourite lieder, no doubt !!! Müllers's poems and Schubert music are amazing!!
For this photograph I had in mind the 4th song (Erstarrung) and the 12th (Einsamkeit):

So zieh ich meine Straße\\ Dahin mit trägem Fuß, \\Durch helles, frohes Leben \\Einsam und ohne Gruß.

Great atmosphere. Holga is a wondrous camera, sometimes when Im out of ideas I take her out and she paints her own picture. We usually have a day in July where you can wear a jumper and thats winter.

Perfect scene for the Holga. Lovely framing also. I am very interested in your entire series.

Recommend Peter Schreier & Andras Schiff's version of Winterreise. Bests Fischer-Deskau, imho.

@awty You hit the nail in the head ;-) She paints her own picture ... but you finally understand this and help her to do her work on your way, hahahaha. Right!
July in Spain, in the center where I live, is always HOT ... (37ºC - 40ºC)

Thank you very much.

I've thirteen versions of Winterreise, including the one you mention!!! (that includes Die schöne Müllerin)
But ...

Very good! The snow on the mountains at the horizont makes the image - and the "Winter".
