@Bob Carnie I'm using potassium dichromate. Registration is done with just pins and tape. Paper is preshrunk for a couple of hours in very warm water....then sized with gelatin (hardened with either AD or formalin). I've also been sizing with diluted acrylic medium.
Hi Andrew- I have better luck with Ammonium than Potassium. I never size the paper after pre shrinking in warm water
Its funny how we all do it differently but end up with nice results.
@Bob Carnie I'm more familiar with Ammonium as I use it for carbon transfer printing... It's just that I have a big container of Potassium Di that's been sitting around for ages not being used... Which paper are you using? I don't size Fabriano but I'm all out of it and cannot find a local source. I've got a package of that defective Arches Platine that needs to be sized, otherwise stained high lights.
