There was an independence referendum in Scotland in 2014, and this led to posters and other signs for Yes or No. This is a Yes voter's home in rural NW Scotland, in a township of a few dozen families where sheep roam free.
Evocative shot. Nice to see more of your Scottish scenes. I can't recall seeing any for a good while. Is that near property's roof covered in corrugated iron? In a Sutherland winter you'd wonder what the heat losses must be if it is only corrugated iron. Maybe it is well insulated below the iron?
Thanks. It looks to have been patched up a few times on the gable, but I think it might be used as an outbuilding nowadays, as many of these corrugated roof buildings seem to be.
