  1. Yes
Looks suitably bleak and sombre. Reminds me of the opening line of Grannie's Heiland Hame. It was in this church that the minister preached his famous Free Presbyterian sermon about " getting it wrong and being sent to Hell. The congregation had got the Lord's way wrong but hadn't realised all the years they were trying to do right. Finding themselves standing at the Gates of Hell they told the Lord they were sorry and said "they didnae ken they were wrang" and the Lord in his infinite wisdom and mercy said as the Gates opened to receive them "Well ye ken noo! :D

One of my favourites jokes. Not intended to offend

Thanks, and not offended. They are very hairshirt in that they don't even have music to accompany them singing their hymns & psalms, and you can bet the inside will be fairly bare. I was a bit surprised that the building had lain empty for 16 years, but I guess it will be sold on and converted in the future.

It's the kind of story that has the local priest on Barra chuckling and offering you a ball of malt on the Sabbath of all days:surprised: Do not repeat it on Harris or Lewis:D

This is the contrast level I would have opted for. You seem to know how to impart aesthetics: I really mean this. It is clean and, tonal-wise, uncluttered. Maybe I am making too much of this but I had to say that. - David Lyga
