what are the "creases" to the right of the building? Are they wires that have been repositioned during the shot? I can't really figure out what they are. Is this a pinhole photo?

I like it - could you tell us a bit more about how it was made? I'm assuming from the grain structure that this was 35mm, and perhaps cropped. Or did you intentionally shoot it with a high-speed film and/or overdevelop to push the grain out? Was this intentional, or a coincidence of the process of making the shot? Personally I think it could use a bit more contrast - the clouds are too gray and match the tone of the building too closely. I think the image would be more three-dimensional if the clouds separated from the building more. I'm not talking about paper white - just a bit brighter.

@Ces1um Yea they were some kind of wires that were connected to the top of the building, if I recall. No pinhole. Nikon FE2 or Fm2n and I'm guessing a 28mm lens.

@TheFlyingCamera Yep 35mm Nikon - Tri-x. Cropped ever-so-slightly to straighten. I have also thought it could use a bit more contrast - I'll work on that some tonight and see what I come up with. I'd like to see it printed as well, because it's on paper that I can really come to terms with appropriate contrast unique to each image. Thanks for the suggestions.

those wires are perfect. they make me think the building is inflatable, lighter than air and is tethered to the ground like a dirigible.

Not sure if you're printing it yourself or having a lab do it, but the lab I use offers a metallic paper. It really makes contrasted areas pop. Sometimes it can be overkill and it's really designed for colour but some black and white prints look really nice with it. I think using this metallic paper on your image would really make the building pop out from the clouds in the background as the paper tends to accentuate edges. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a proof print made first of it though.
