The portrait composition aids this image and the fact that there is 'nothing of interest' does not rob this image of its effectiveness. Sometimes nothing becomes something. The orange filter helped a lot. - David Lyga

Thank you Mark and David. I pass this probably two or three times a week, and the light was hitting it low and from the side at this time of the day/year, just struck me to shoot it.

I think this would benefit by 2 stops less in the foreground. For me, the interest begins at the far side of the pond.
